Had just bought a new keyboard and because of weight needed a work horse..This unit seems to meet that need and still fulfill the need for portability. I'm not a small guy and the piano seat also carries it's load.....good value ,well worth the price

Yamaha PKBX2 Double X Portable Keyboard Stand Review

Yamaha PKBX2 Double X Portable Keyboard Stand
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had looked at numerous stands for my Yamaha keyboard and didn't want to spend a ton of money for a professional grade stand (at professional prices). With that in mind, the Yamaha PKBX2 Double X Portable Keyboard Stand is a good choice at $29.99. I had seen other stands that were not as sturdy (single X stands)and cost about the same price.
Tips for assembly:
- Don't read the instructions, just look at the enlarged image of the keyboard stand on Amazon and assemble the stand the way it's shown.
- The bolts for attaching the arms and legs come screwed in to the stand. Use the (included )Allen Wrench to remove them and then re-install them when you are putting it together.
PROS:
- Low price.
- Solid, sturdy stand.
- Works for just about any keyboard.
- The stand's height is fully adjustable, and can be easily changed in several seconds - without having to unscrew anything.
CONS:
- There is no way to attach a keyboard to this stand. No screws, bolts or straps are included, even though most (including my Yamaha) keyboards have pre-drilled holes for screwing the board to a stand. The keyboard simply sits on top of the stand. I was VERY disappointed about this.
- The included Allen wrench did not work for one of the bolts. The bolt came screwed in to the stand way too tightly to be removed using the included tool. The Allen Wrench only stripped the bolt, it did not loosen it. Luckily my husband had a better Allen Wrench of nearly identical size, and that one worked. Without it, we would not have been able to loosen the bolt.

I have this item in my shopping cart in Amazon.com for a couple of months already waiting for a sale.
Finally, the sale came last week when the price was lowered by the seller.
I completed the transaction immediately.
It came in a nice box with the parts ready to be assembled.
It's light assembly took about 5 minutes.
The slots and screws were color coded so there's really no need to read the instruction.
The stand is so strong I could literally lie on it.
It supports my newly purchased Yamaha CP33 (40 lbs) nicely and won't shake while playing (being on carpet).
It can easily adjust the height (the very reason I bought this ergo-lock model) with a press of the adjust lever.
This is one of the best stands I saw in the stores.
Highly recommended.
We have two more of the same stand in our church. It is great.

On Stage KSA7500 Second Tier for Keyboard Stands Review

On Stage KSA7500 Second Tier for Keyboard Stands
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have been using the On-Stage Platform Stand for my heavy digital piano (Yamaha P120, 88 keys), and I recently bought the KSA7500 second tier attachment to support an additional light-weight board (Nord Electro 2, 61 keys). I have now used the second tier attachment at a rehearsal and at a gig in a small bar where I needed to minimize my footprint. I am overall mostly satisfied and will continue using the upper tier when needed.
PROS: Compact, lightweight, fairly easy to attach, strong enough to support a light board, ability to adjust the tilt angle somewhat. Works with my existing platform stand. Allows two boards in same footprint as one. Able to comfortably play one board seated and the other standing.
CONS: Height above bottom board is not adjustable. There is just enough clearance to see and reach the buttons on the bottom board; if the bottom board had an LCD display I don't think I could see it. The tilt angle left and right is adjusted separately and you have to make sure you set both arms to the same angle in the toothed wheels. Only the minimum tilt (one notch below flat) yields a comfortable playing position. The flat position offers no barrier against pushing the keyboard backward off the tier. The spacing between the arms is defined by the slots in the bottom stand and might not be enough for a longer board on top. When not attached to anything (i.e., during transport) the stand is "floppy" in the sense that the arms can rotate independently.

On Stage 2 Tier Folding Z Keyboard Stand Review

Very solid keyboard stand with lots of different height and width options! The second tier is very good but only adjustable in width not in front to back which is the only drawback! I highly recommend it for studio work cause it takes 20 minutes to set up! Live usage is possible too but time is essential! Now I know why its price went up from $99 to $129 - this stand is the best in the music industry!

On-Stage Stands Standard Keyboard Stand Review

On-Stage Stands Standard Keyboard Stand
Average Reviews:

Pros:
It seems quite well made.
The latch to set it up and change height is VERY convenient.
Cons:
Although it appears quite sturdy it still bounces easily if you hit the keys just a little bit.
Watch out for the height, the lowest height of 27" + keyboard is quite high if you sit.

Yamaha PKBS1 Single Braced Adjustable X-Style Keyboard Stand Review

Yamaha PKBS1 Single Braced Adjustable X-Style Keyboard Stand
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
When I purchased my daughter a keyboard for Christmas, this stand was included. I must admit that I was very skeptical at first about a stand that was included with the product, but I am very happy.
It is very sturdy, easy to use and folds for storage or transport. The legs scissor, so the height can be adjusted for basically any type of seating you use - we have used it from kitchen chair to bar stool height. When not in use, you can collapse the legs together for easier storage, the width is about 4" when closed.
The only downside to the product, and I am not sure it is a problem with the product or with keyboards, is that there is no mechanism to firmly attach the keyboard to the stand. The keyboard just sits on top of the stand, and can easily be bumped off. I am sure that a way to attach the keyboard could be found, however I would not recommend this stand to a household with small children or for a household where the keyboard will be placed in a high traffic area.

Yamaha L85 Keyboard Stand for Yamaha P95 Keyboard Review

Yamaha L85 Keyboard Stand for Yamaha P95 Keyboard
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The instructions are pictorial so no room for confusion. You need some space for the assembly as the pieces are long, but it was all quite straightforward. And it looked short when done but the keyboard sits about on top of it, with screws to hold it in. My son remarked that it was an improvement over the x-stand previously used, this sits solidly and doesn't wobble as the other did.
I would recommend getting the stand if you have the P85, it does support it better and also looks kind of like a piano. I also got the three pedals, (LP-5), which fit across the bottom of this stand and also helps it feel/sound more like a piano.
Tip: I have seen these three (Digital piano, stand, pedals) offered together as a bundle on some sites.

On Stage Classic Single-X Keyboard Stand Review

On Stage Classic Single-X Keyboard Stand
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Purchased this stand in conjunction with my acquisition of the Casio Privia 330 as I am learning piano. The stand is sturdy enough for home use although I can see if you really bang the keys hard on your keyboard it can cause the stand to wobble a bit. An earlier review said that this stand is not good for the Privia which I disagree with. The rubber "grips" on the stand are adjustable to the width of the keyboard resting on it. Initially, it appears that the stand is too wide and the Privia would be resting on the metal bars which would cause the keyboard to be unsecure and slide. All you have to do is twist & move the rubber "grips" in towards the center so that they rest underneath the Privia. Overall a very good stand.

Yamaha PKBB1 Single Braced Adjustable X-Style Keyboard Bench Review

Yamaha PKBB1 Single Braced Adjustable X-Style Keyboard Bench
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
First of all, the PKBB1MM is the same model as the PKBB1. In fact, the box for this bench leaves off the MM suffix. So, it would seem that the same bench is being sold twice on Amazon, for two different prices. Go for whichever is cheaper.
Now, as far as the bench goes, it's not bad, especially for the price. Raising and lowering could be easier--as is, it involves unscrewing a knob, pulling out a bolt, holding a bunch of washers in place, and screwing the knob back into the bolt at the desired height. Not as horrible as it sounds, but could be annoying if you're taking this bench to a gig. If you're using it in your home, however, you'll probably just leave it in one position anyway.
The other downfall of this bench is that its highest setting is not all that high. I'm six feet tall, have a digital piano with the keys positioned at exactly the height of a regular grand piano, and honestly, the bench makes me feel a little short. Two or three inches more height would be perfect.
The upsides are: 1) the cushion is quite comfortable, even for extended playing; it feels almost like visco-elastic foam. 2) The bench is reasonably sturdy and well-built, considering the small size and the low cost.
Overall, I'd recommend this bench for home use, but only because it is dramatically cheaper than anything else in its class.
