Yamaha FC-5 Sustain Pedal for Portable Electronic Keyboards Review

Yamaha FC-5 Sustain Pedal for Portable Electronic Keyboards

Growing up with an acoustic piano, I was uncomfortable with how the FC-5 Sustain Pedal felt. For me to tell when I was pressing the pedal or not, I had to take my shoes off. Unwilling to be an environmental hazard, I decided to purchase a pedal that has the feel of an acoustic piano's pedal. (Much better than buying that yellow tape to surround myself with...)
If you are looking for the feel of an acoustic piano's pedal, I would recommend the FC-4. Or if you want the same feel with a pedal that can do more than just sustain, I'd recommend the FC-3.

Yamaha PKBB1 X Keyboard Bench Review

I bought this for my children to use with their keyboard. It is ready-assembled and fairly sturdy - perhaps a little on the small side for a large adult, but great for my children aged 9 and under and ok for me (I'm only 5'4)
Nice bench for the price.

I'm petite so I'm delighted that this stool has 6 options for height adjustment. I was able to get it high enough for me. The padding is soft and comfortable to sit on. It's light enough to carry around. I also like it that it can be folded away for storage if I ever need to. It is also stable enough, though I wouldn't recommend rocking on it or standing on it.

Williams Matching Padded Piano Bench for Symphony Digital Piano Review

This bench does not have storage underneath like most other piano benches. There is absolutely no information available about this feature in the item description. I called the merchant to ask, and even tried the manufacturer's website, but nobody had the answer. I had to order it just hoping that storage was included. Of course, when the bench arrived, I was disappointed to see that it had no storage underneath.

On Stage KT7800 Plus Keyboard Bench Review

The legs remove completely from the bench by squeezing in two pins on each arm of the "X". There are knobs you can tighten to hold the pins in, which is handy because otherwise it would require a lot of hands to set up the bench.
I would not recommend this bench if you plan to set it up and take it down frequently. The rails on the bottom of the bench are too close together on mine and that makes one end very difficult to remove. It also takes a bit of fiddling around with both ends to ensure all 4 pins seat in the holes in the bench rail. If you were in a hurry it would be easy to only wedge the unit together and have it collapse when you sat down.
