(More customer reviews)I bought this because the first set of batteries wore out quickly, and there are three of us that use the metronome. The kids use it to time their practice and as a metronome, I use it for teaching piano. So I thought I would save money on batteries by buying the adapter. Mostly what I have found that where I need to use the metronome, I either don't have access to a plug or just don't want to bother. And unless you are putting your metronome in one place and leaving it, don't bother with buying this adapter.

(More customer reviews)Nothing makes a customer more mad than to buy something that just doesn't work. Well,....that's not the case here. This power supply is well made (durable) and performs to the specs supplied. I guess a person can take the risk of buying a variable output adaptor with the proper power pin configuration,...but why go to all that trouble? This product lives up to it's calling. Besides, who wants to keep changing batteries in the Stobe Tuner (Planet Waves) when this power adaptor is easy to plug in and forget. I gave it a 5-star rating because the price is fair, the product is well made and works, and it was shipped well within the promised time. By today's standards, that's as good as it gets.

Casio AD-5MR Keyboard AC Power Adapter Review

(More customer reviews)I've noticed a lot of people here were having a hard time finding the right adapter for their specific keyboards, and I've got a solution. You don't actually need to buy a Casio brand adapter to fit your Casio keyboard (matching model numbers can be tricky online). Here's a fool- proof method for finding the right adapter every time;
On the back or underside of your keyboard, there should be a voltage rating (which looks like a number followed by 'V'. For example, '9V' or '8V') and a milliamp rating (which looks like a larger number followed by 'mA'. For example, '850mA' or '900mA').
With those two numbers, you can find the exact adapter you need. :) For example, my keyboard is rated '9V 850mA', which looks like a bunch of gobbldeygook until you type it into a search engine or show it to a salesperson at any electronics or toy store. Almost all adapters are rated this way and regardless of the manufacturer (i.e. Casio, Yamaha), you'll always get the exact adapter you need when using voltage and milliamp numbers. Just be sure the other end of the adapter is the right fit for your input jack, and you're all set. :) Hope that helps.
